[Niharika] Business Idioms related to sports --- repeat

- Kick off  : to start something,
Ex. Let's kick off the meeting.

- On target : to make progress and archive the goal
Ex. You are on target when you are going to win the contract.

- Up to scratch : to be acceptable
Ex. This project is very important for us, should be up to scratch.

- Know the ropes : sailing, who really have all the knowledge and skill to perform.
Ex. He really knows the ropes. So this means that he does have all the knowledge and the skill.

- Ball park figure : rough estimate
Ex. Could you ball park figure about the sales.

- Jump the gun :
Ex.  I don't want to jump the gun.
probably disqualified

- In pole position : best position
Ex. You are doing good.
       The company is in pole position to get the contract. We have a great chance.

- Neck and Neck :  belong to horse racing, both are doing well , A great competition  wherein anybody can achieve or win a project
Ex. We are neck and neck, Really work hard in order to achieve this contract.
